Sequel Four grew out of the need to experiment. The need to discover new ways of creating music. The need to discover new ways to listen to music. Sequel Four is an experiment.
Rather than starting with a concept or idea and then creating music around that, I want to start with a musical idea and let the music decide where to go. The ideas and perceptions would grow out of the sounds being put together.
Each Sequel Four album creates its own mood. Each composition found a way to interact with the works around it to create a story.
The album titles and composition names are suggestions; they are what came to my mind.
Sequel Four is about music speaking to each individual.
